ICC Concert Rehearsals

Rehearsals for the concert will be on
- Wednesday, March 28th 2012 @ Catholic High School, 1330hrs - 1730hrs
- Thursday, March 29th 2012 @ HGH Hall Sentul, 1500hrs - 1700hrs
Wednesday, March 28th
- The people involved are performers, organising committee and backstage crew. Security, registration and usherers, you are not involved in this rehearsals but please be sure you speak to the President of your school's Interact Club beforehand to get a detailed briefing on your duties.
- To the performers whose performances require CDs, please do not forget your CDs and be sure it can be played on a laptop. Final reminder that your performance should not be more than 6 minutes.
Thursday, March 29th - The people involved are performers, organising committee, backstage crew, security, registration and usherers. Yes, that's everyone. This rehearsal is extremely important so it is compulsory for you to attend. Punctuality is very important as we only have two hours to run through everything. Again, performers, do not forget to bring your CD. Bring your song in a thumb drive and save the file in your phone too, just to be safe. Take note that on the day,
- Once again: Security, registration and usherers, please make sure you know beforehand from your President on what you have to do so that everything will run smoothly.
- Two buses will be provided to HGH Hall. Departure time: 1430hrs @ SMK Assunta. These two buses are for all involved. Fee: RM 8. The buses depart from HGH Hall to SMK Assunta at 1730hrs. Again, please be punctual!
Also, prepare a copy of your song in a CD to be passed to the backstage crew. This CD will be the one used to play your song during the concert. Group leaders, pass it to the President of the Interact Club of your school by Monday, 26th March 2012.
Once again, punctuality is important and everyone involved should be present during rehearsals! It's in just over the week everyone, let's do the best we can!

About the ICC Concert
Aurum is the latin name for gold, something we hold in high honour. Whether it be someone's heart, a medal, royalty or Lil' Wayne's teeth, the world always associates great things with the colour gold. And why not? They have reasons to! Gold is one element that hardly ever reacts with any other thing on Earth. In this sense, it is incorruptible, it is pure. 'The Golden Touch' tagline symbolizes our pure and honest effort to help the kids of the Golden Child Project. Another reason why we chose this theme is because we wanted to show everyone what this concert really is about, that is, the Golden Child Project. The Golden Child Project is an ongoing project by Rotary PJ that helps the terminally-ill children from Hospital Universiti Malaya, Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Hospital Am Kuala Lumpur. Under this project, these kids(most of them have been diagnosed with leukemia) are treated to a weekend holiday of enjoyment, and fun. Isn't it nice to know you're helping to make kids smile?
Aurum symbolizes a great effort to put those smiles on their faces and that, we are confident, with your help, we can very well do.
Join us for this day of great performances from three different categories including singing, modern dance and traditional dance. Enjoy as we discover new talents together, meet new people and overall, have LOADS of fun!
